The map does not move/point to the wrong place
Make sure you haven't switched to manual mode. Does your phone have a compass? If not, Sky Map will not be able to determine your direction. Find it here: http://www.gsmarena.com/
Try calibrating your compass by moving it in an 8-stroke pattern or as shown here: https://www. youtube.com/watch?v=k1EPbAapaeI.
Are there any nearby magnets or metals that might interfere with the compass?
Try turning off Magnetic Correction (in settings) and see if that's more accurate.
Why is my phone's automatic location not supported?
In Android 6, the way permissions work has changed. You need to enable the location permission setting for the Sky map as shown here: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/6270602? p = app_permissons_m
The map is tense
If you have a phone that lacks rotation, some vibration is to be expected. Try adjusting the sensor speed and damping (in settings).
Do I need an internet connection?
No, but some functions (such as manually entering your location) won't work without it. You will have to use GPS or enter latitude and longitude instead.
